Students gain SEEK profile and career advice
Students had the opportunity to learn directly from Gill Farrer and Jessica Carli from the SEEK Head Office, who delivered an insightful and practical session on how to make the most of SEEK profiles and stand out to employers today.
The session, organised by AIC’s Employability department covered key strategies for strengthening employability, including building professional networks, diversifying skills, understanding industry expectations, and investing energy into developing a strong personal brand.
Students also gained valuable guidance on how to verify their academic credentials and Placement Ready Programme (PRP) completion, as well as practical tips for keeping SEEK profiles current, public, and optimised for hiring managers.
It was a highly engaging and informative session, with students walking away with actionable advice they can immediately apply to their job search.
As one student shared, the session was “so insightful… [I only] wish we could have more time.”
A huge thank you to Gill, Jessica, and the team at SEEK for sharing their expertise and supporting our students on their career journeys.
We look forward to seeing more of our AIC learners getting their PRP and academic qualifications verified on their SEEK profiles.
