Embracing equity on International Women’s Day

We celebrated International Women’s Day at our Manukau Campus yesterday.

We invited students and staff to come along in their cultural attire and bring a plate of food to share.

Our Student Success Team shared a video that staff and students had contributed to making and then taught attendees a dance.

Even our online students got involved, sharing their own photos to celebrate the day.

International Women’s Day is all about celebrating women’s achievements, raising awareness about discrimination, and taking action to drive gender parity. The theme for this year’s event was embracing equity.
