LAMP
- Reading Level 1
Futureskills e-learning was contracted by the government
to develop an on-line programme for youth with literacy
problems. 3D environments and characters were created
to appeal to the target audience and make the learning
fun and engaging. |

The characters, environments and template
were designed to be reused in subsequent modules. The
complete level I reading module was produced by a team
of three in under a month and is easily deliverable over
a high speed internet connection.

LAMP
- Writing level 1
For LAMP a community of characters, including a game-show host,
war correspondent and private detective, was created for each
of the learning areas. |
The character effectively represented
the expert in the field and could make guest appearances in
other modules to highlight important links in the learning.
Both the writing and vocabulary modules made use of lip synching
software to add life to the characters.
