Training for ages 15-18 years
About the Programme
Today's business world is a complex, challenging and
exciting place. Each section of this course will capture
some aspect of that challenge and excitement. Learn the
skills and knowledge to work in a business environment as
an office assistant, a receptionist, data entry operator, or
customer service representative.
- Students will learn people skills including customer
service, telephone skills, communications skills and
team work.
- They will become proficient in Microsoft Office
applications and develop skills in word processing,
spreadsheets, databases, and electronic presentations.
- Standard office procedures will be introduced including
how to process mail, create schedules, handle records,
compose business correspondence and comply with
workplace safety procedures.
- Level 3 students will be introduced to basic accounting
practices and advanced business computing skills.

- Students will gain confidence through understanding
the importance of personal presentation and time
management.
- Students will also be equipped in job search skills, CV
writing, and job interview skills.
- Work-ready students will be assisted to gain work
experience during training.
- Upon completion of training all students will be assisted
with obtaining a job and/or accessing further training.
