Introduction to Multi-media Development
Training for ages 15-18 years


About the Programme
This training programme prepares people for entry into the exciting and creative world of multi-media production. It will include training in a range of leading software programmes used in web design, print design, and sound editing.

  • Students will be introduced to website development,graphic design, and desktop publishing. They will learn how to create web pages using programmes such as Microsoft's FrontPage. They will be introduced to graphic design using Microsoft Publisher and PowerPoint, and also sound editing using Sony SoundForge.
  • Level 3 students' skills will be further developed in the areas of image and audio editing, and advanced web design. Programmes will include Abode Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and advanced use of FrontPage.
  • After completion of Level 2 and Level 3 student portfolios will demonstrate their ability to develop innovative interfaces and engaging digital content, as well as technical proficiency in the delivery of modern creative solutions.
  • To complete their training, students will become proficient in Microsoft's Office suite of products.
  • Work-ready students will be assisted to gain work experience during training.
  • Upon completion of the training all students will be assisted with obtaining a job and/or accessing further training.

HOURS 8:30am to 3.00pm, Monday-Friday
