Printing & Production Support
Training for 15 years and older
About the Programme
This training programme prepares people for entry into the printing industry. It will include training in sheet fed off-set printing, and knowledge and skills for printing production support
- Future Skills has a printing press workshop so that students can gain practical experience while training.
- Students will complete four programme components:
Introduction to Printing Trades, Foundation Skills, Sheetfed
Offset Printing, and Sheet-fed Machine Operation.
- Students' knowledge and experience of the printing
industry will be broadened through regular field trips.
- Graduates will be prepared for entry as an apprentice
in the trade as a Printing Assistant and be ready to
undertake further training at Levels 3 or 4.
- Students will also gain a Certificate in First Aid and skills
as a forklift driver.

- Work-ready students will be assisted to gain work
experience during training.
- Upon completion of the training all students will be
assisted with obtaining a job and/or accessing further
training.
