About the Programme
This training programme prepares people for entry into the printing industry. It will include training in sheet fed off-set printing, and knowledge and skills for printing production support

Future Skills has a printing press workshop so that students can gain practical experience while training. Students will complete four programme components: Introduction to Printing Trades, Foundation Skills, Sheetfed Offset Printing, and Sheet-fed Machine Operation. Students' knowledge and experience of the printing industry will be broadened through regular field trips. Graduates will be prepared for entry as an apprentice in the trade as a Printing Assistant and be ready to undertake further training at Levels 3 or 4. Students will also gain a Certificate in First Aid and skills as a forklift driver.

Work-ready students will be assisted to gain work experience during training. Upon completion of the training all students will be assisted with obtaining a job and/or accessing further training.
